Our Vision
Our vision is that all of Maui and the surrounding Islands will switch to Spikeless Palm Trimming as a way of preserving and cultivating the Coconut Palm as an important plant resource. Because it is a plentiful source of pure water, healthy food, and building materials, the coconut palm provides Hawaii a medium for releasing our dependency on imported goods. Coconut Palms also offer us a key to vibrant health. For these reasons and the pure beauty of the palms, Pure Life Palm Trimmers offers trimming services that preserve and honor these powerful plants.
Pure Life Palm Trimmers was founded in June 2006. It spawned from a love of coconuts, climbing, and a desire to make a strong offering to both the community and the aina. Recognizing that knowledge is the gateway to positive change, we are in a constant process of researching to enhance and refine our services. Our educational resources include palm experts such as Scot Nelson, Associate Professor of Plant Pathology, University of Hawaii at Manoa, and many reference texts on cultivating and maintaining palms as well as preventing and treating diseases.
Pure Life Palm Trimmers is dedicated to offering more and more effective and sustainable ways to maintain these icons of Hawaii’s splendor.
Today Pure Life Palm Trimmers services over 100 regular clients from resorts to private estates to neighborhood homes. We hope you’ll join our growing family.
